Other Sponsor Licence for Temporary Workers
What is the Sponsor Licence for Global Business Mobility Route?
The Global Business Mobility route includes the following five visa types:
- Senior or Specialist Worker: For employees undertaking temporary work assignments in the UK, where the worker is a senior manager or specialist employee.
- UK Expansion Worker: For employees setting up a new UK branch or wholly-owned subsidiary of an overseas company.
- Graduate Trainee: For graduates on specialised training programmes undertaking temporary work assignments in the UK.
- Service Supplier: For individuals delivering specific services to a UK client under a contract.
- Secondment Worker: For employees temporarily assigned to work in the UK to do an eligible job for a different organisation. The worker’s overseas employer must have a high-value contract with the UK organisation.
A company or other type of organisation (such as an LLP) should obtain a Sponsor Licence in such routes before sponsoring their workers’ Visa or Leave to Remain application.
