Other Sponsor Licence for Temporary Workers

What is the Sponsor Licence for Global Business Mobility Route?

The Global Business Mobility route includes the following five visa types:

  • Senior or Specialist Worker: For employees undertaking temporary work assignments in the UK, where the worker is a senior manager or specialist employee.
  • žUK Expansion Worker: For employees setting up a new UK branch or wholly-owned subsidiary of an overseas company.
  • žGraduate Trainee: For graduates on specialised training programmes undertaking temporary work assignments in the UK.
  • žService Supplier: For individuals delivering specific services to a UK client under a contract.
  • žSecondment Worker: For employees temporarily assigned to work in the UK to do an eligible job for a different organisation. The worker’s overseas employer must have a high-value contract with the UK organisation.

A company or other type of organisation (such as an LLP) should obtain a Sponsor Licence in such routes before sponsoring their workers’ Visa or Leave to Remain application.

I wanted my children to have British passports, which have arrived. After years of frustration and bad advice I came across Passportia. They presented a legal opinion to the UK Home Office who eventually accepted my children were British citizens. I can really recommend Passportia.
